If the heat isn’t exactly right, you’re looking at a nightmare: ink that doesn’t set properly or, even worse, scorched fabric that you have to toss in the bin. The trick is getting the heat right. It’s not just about the total wattage. It’s about where that heat actually lands on the garment. If the power density is off, you’ll end up with “cold spots” where the ink stays wet. Or, if the voltage is wrong, you might just pop a fuse in your control cabinet and shut down the whole line. We make sure our lamps match the MHM originals exactly. No guessing games. No tripped breakers. Just a steady, reliable cure. Why the materials matter We use high-purity quartz glass because these lamps go through a lot. They heat up and cool down fast, and cheap glass just can’t handle that kind of stress. These are short-wave infrared emitters. In plain English? The heat hits the ink faster. This means you can actually speed up your conveyor belt and get more shirts out the door without worrying about the quality. And we know the connectors are usually the first thing to break. One quick tip before you swap High-wattage halogen tubes put out a ton of heat. It’s great for production, but it’s hard on your reflectors.
