If you need heat—and you need it now—this is the tool for the job. We built this 600mm lamp for those moments where you can’t afford to wait around for a machine to warm up. It runs on a standard 220V supply and pushes out 1000W of power through a clear quartz tube. The power side of things We balanced the 1000W output across the 600mm length for a reason. You want a steady, even spread of heat. Nobody wants those annoying hot spots that warp your materials and ruin a whole batch of work. Since it’s 220V, it should slide right into most industrial setups without you having to mess around with bulky transformers. Just a quick tip: double-check your relays. Make sure they can handle the initial surge when you flip the switch, or you’ll be replacing them way sooner than you’d like. Why carbon and quartz? Inside the tube, we use a carbon filament. It does a much better job of throwing a wide range of heat compared to the old-school metal coils. Then there’s the clear quartz. It’s basically a window that lets the short-wave radiation fly straight through. This means the heat hits your workpiece almost instantly. But here is the catch:**quartz is finicky.**It handles high heat like a champ, but it’s brittle. Please, for the love of your equipment, wear gloves. If the oils from your skin get on the glass, they create little “cold spots.” When the lamp heats up, those spots cause the glass to stress and crack. Not a fun way to start the morning. Real-world use (and the trade-offs) You’ll usually see these in PET blowing, curing paint, or welding plastics. If you’ve already got IR heaters in your line, this is a simple drop-in replacement. But keep this in mind: when you pack 1000W into a 600mm space, a lot of that heat wants to go everywhere—including back toward your machine frame. You’ll need to be smart about your shielding and ventilation. If the air isn’t moving enough, the housing will bake, and your filament won’t last nearly as long as it should. Get the airflow right, and these things will hum along for a long time.
